Spring Festival: Dubai, Brazil & Panama celebrate Chinese New Year

A growing number of countries have joined China in celebrating the Spring Festival. In Dubai, more than two thousand people marched downtown to give local residents a taste of Chinese New Year on Thursday. Traditional performances like dragon and lion dances were presented during the tour.
In Rio de Janeiro, the local Chinese community has invited Brazilians to experience Chinese food and culture first-hand. As part of the Chinese cultural week, an artist troupe from China showed local audiences a traditional performance of a Chinese minority group. In Panama City, lion dancers marched through China Town, to bring good fortune to the Chinese community.
