US President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, Christopher Wray, will face the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday for his confirmation hearing.
Wray served as an assistant attorney general at the Justice Department from 2003 to 2005 under President George W. Bush. He’s now a partner of international law firm King & Spalding law, which has provided services to US President Trump’s companies.
US media reports say clients of the law firm also include Russian energy giants. Wray would succeed James Comey, whom Trump fired in May.
