A six-year-old boy drove a motorcycle in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality recently. Video shows the boy sitting in front with his hands on the controls, while his father sat behind him.
The father was fined 2,000 RMB (about 300 US dollars) and lost his license.
According to the investigation, the boy had asked for driving the motorcycle going home and his father actually agreed with him. Local police officer required the father to strictly educate his kid.
Local government also calls on parents to make sure their children wore helmets when riding bicycles.
The WHO said in 2015 that at least 200,000 people died each year on the mainland as a result of road accidents, which it also said killed almost 30 children a day.
