Philippine Foreign Minister Perfecto Yasay has said a code of conduct for the South China Sea is likely to be completed by the middle of this year during a news conference in Manila. Yasay mentioned that as the Philippines assumes ASEAN's rotating presidency this year, it will prioritize discussions on regional peace and stability, maritime security cooperation and other issues related to political security.
