January is the ideal time for the “new year, new me” mantra that people around the world repeat at the beginning of every year – and to which many fail to abide. However, Scottish macro photographer David Gilliver, who is famous for his shots of two-centimeter-tall miniature figurines, is giving those seeking a fresh start some inspiration. /CFP Photo
Gilliver is back at it with a series of photographs about living in a healthy way to kick start 2017. His “Little People” have been shot riding tiny bicycles, crossing a forest of gigantic vegetables and swimming in cereal bowls (hopefully with skim milk). /CFP Photo
Having studied at the Glasgow School of Art, Gilliver has been creating his tiny world, with surreal scenarios, for over 10 years. And his pictures have known global fame. /CFP Photo
The latest series has been inspired by Gillivier's toddler who refuses to eat greens. /CFP Photo
