Feng Shanshan looks to grab her second LPGA major event. The Chinese golfer adjusted her putting stroke, which has helped her take the clubhouse lead in the third major of the women's tour this season.
Feng would be able to card a 6-under 66 and that allows her to take the lead at minus 6, after she went on to fire three straight tweets in her round, twice.
"I started the round really solidly. I had three birdies in the first four holes. After that I felt comfortable about everything,” said Feng. “I made a little bit adjustment with my coach after I got here on Tuesday, on putting. Then I'm rolling the ball into the holes now. I'm really happy about the round, 66. That's my low score in US Open ever. So hopefully I can keep that going."
