Lightning is an accepted hazard in the US state of Florida, particularly potent in the summer months. Recently, lightning strikes have been caught on camera a number of times, going viral as it stirred a fever pitch. However, weather experts say lightning fatalities have been going down, and this year's pace is pointed toward an all-time low.
