Russian President Vladimir Putin opened his election headquarters on Wednesday, kicking off his campaign ahead of the March 2018 presidential race. Paying a visit to headquarters in central Moscow, the president was received with welcoming whoops and cheers by the young Muscovites who support him. Speaking to the media after a meeting with the president, Putin's campaign co-chair Sergei Kogogin said, "We believe that he is a very worthy person, and we believe in his victory."
