Stalwarts Liaoning clinched an overtime win against regular season champion Zhejiang Guangsha 121-116 to double their lead to 2-0 in the best-of-seven series of 2017-2018 season Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Finals.
Former NBA shooter Lester Hudson bagged two long-range three-pointers in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, one of his many plays as the key player for the game in Hangzhou.
Enjoying a home advantage, Guangsha made a valiant effort, leading by six points with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Hudson notched up six straight points while a dunk from Han Dejun helped Liaoning took the lead before Guangsha leveled the score 107-107 with free throws.

Overtime saw a spirited Liaoning team outclassing a hapless Guangsha as the visitors finally ended the game with five-point advantage.
A high-flying Hudson returned with had a game-high 45 points, including 21 points in the final quarter and overtime.
Liaoning, which appeared in six previous finals but ended up losing in each of those, will now return to their own backyard of Shenyang for Game Three and Game Four.
Game Three is scheduled for Friday.
