Korean Peninsula Diplomacy: President Xi meets ROK president's national security adviser

Chinese President Xi Jinping met South Korea's top national security adviser on Monday in Beijing.
Chung Eui-yong briefed China's leaders, including Foreign Minister Wang Yi, on new efforts to address the stand-off with the DPRK.
President Xi says he's committed to a denuclearized Korean Peninsula and hopes upcoming summits with the DRPK lead to a positive outcome.
Chung thanked China for its support in the diplomatic process that led to a historic agreement for US President Donald Trump to meet DPRK leader Kim Jong Un.
