The Ministry of Agriculture says there's a long road ahead for work on rural development. At a press conference this morning, Minister Han Changfu said implementing the Rural Vitalization Strategy, as well as upgrading of agriculture, will be top priorities in future work in this area. Minister Han unveiled a policy that extends by another 30 years China's second round of land contracts, saying this policy will be a great assurance for the majority of farmers.
