Picasso Auction: Painting of artist's lover could bring nearly $50 mln

A rarely-seen masterpiece by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso goes to auction next week in London.
The painting of Picasso's lover, Marie-Therese Walter, is expected to sell for up to 50-million US dollars. Picasso painted the work in 1937 and kept it until his death in 1973. It has only been exhibited in public twice before. Another of Picasso's works, 'Le Matador', will also be on sale. It's estimated to bring in as much as 25-million US dollars.
