China's Political Season: New leadership of 13th CPPCC National Committee elected

To Beijing now, where the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the country's top political advisory body has elected its new leadership, with Wang Yang as chairman.
ZHANG QINGLI, VICE CHAIRMAN CPPCC NATIONAL COMMITTEE "CPPCC members, I hereby announce the results of the elections. Comrade Wang Yang has been elected the chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference!"
The chairman of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, Yu Zhengsheng, sent his congratulations to all. The CPPCC is seen as an important body for multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the Communist Party of China. Its annual session will wrap up tomorrow.
