The Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) Chilbaosan restaurant in downtown Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province put up a notice on Tuesday saying it is closing down.
The Chilbaosan hotel is one of the DPRK’s largest foreign investments of its kind in the world that is hit by the United Nations 2375 resolution.
Tuesday marks the deadline for DRPK businesses in China to close down following a 120-day notice issued by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce last year under a UN Security Council resolution.

Meanwhile, the DPRK and the Republic of Korea (ROK) reopened a military hotline with normal communications at about 2 p.m. (0500 GMT) on Tuesday.
The DPRK also offered to send a high-ranking delegation as well as athletes and cheering squads to the Republic of Korea (ROK)-hosted Winter Olympic Games set for next month.
