According to the State Oceanic Administration, a large amount of oil from the Sanchi tanker leaked into the sea since its collision on Jan.6th. Nearby monitoring stations have detected oil contaminating the water. The oil slick looks like a white scarf with black and brown outline. China is racing to clean the pollution and stop the environmental disaster.
