Bike-Sharing Industry: China's online services firm Meituan snaps up Mobike

China's food review and delivery giant, Meituan Dianping, has bought the bike-sharing company, Mobike. The two firms released a joint statement on Wednesday officially announcing the acquisition. Mobike will keep its brand and continue to operate independently. Meituan called Mobike a real Chinese invention with a huge value to society. And Mobike said the two companies will continue to focus on improving user value and experiences that surprise customers.
