As this very first China International Import Expo comes to a close, international exhibitors as well as domestic buyers share their thoughts on China's market and what they have gained in the expo.
SCOTT CHENG BUSINESS LEADER, PHILIPS CHINA "We value this opportunity a lot because in the past we tried to enter Chinese market with all preparation, but with this expo we can see a lot of people and health-care professionals coming for quality imported products. For sure, Philips will come back for the next year's expo and will contribute more in 2019."

ALESSANDRO PROFUMO CEO OF LEONARDO S.P.A. "Yesterday we've signed an important agreement with Sino-US helicopters company, our distributor in China. We've received an order for 15 AW139 helicopters, and we signed to provide in next 5 years from 2019 to 2023. This is a market where we have different opportunities, so it's important to cover all different segment of the market."
RUAN GUANG, CHAIRMAN CHINA NATIONAL MACHINERY IMPORT & EXPORT CORP. "After this Expo, we will expand the import of the vehicles of BMW, Benz, Lincoln and Toyota. The total volume may reach 2 billion RMB in 6 months."
