E China’s Qingdao to host SCO summit 2018

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit (SCO) 2018 will be held in Qingdao, eastern China’s Shandong Province, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday.
Wang made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the Symposium on International Developments and China’s Diplomacy in 2017 held in Beijing.
China took over the rotating chair of the SCO after the 17th SCO summit concluded in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, on June 9 and will host its annual summit in June, 2018.
China will make best efforts to fulfill the task and work with all other parties to give people a greater sense of ownership and usher in an even brighter future for the SCO, said Chinese President Xi Jinping in his speech at 17th SCO summit.
