The DPRK started its working-level talks with the Republic of Korea (ROK) at 1:00 a.m. GMT on Wednesday at the truce village of Panmunjom to discuss DPRK’s participation in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
This is the third time that the two sides have held talks at the truce village after their high-level meeting on Jan. 9, the first in about two years.
The outcome of Wednesday's talks is expected to be discussed at the International Olympic Committee's meeting with officials from the two sides for Saturday in Lausanne, Switzerland.

On Monday, the two sides held working-level talks for the dispatch of the DPRK’s art troupe to the Winter Games.
Pyongyang will send an art troupe comprising more than 140 members to the ROK for the occasion of the 23rd Winter Olympics, and give its performances in Kangrung and Seoul, the ROK’s Ministry of Unification announced after the meeting.
