Theater education is getting more and more popular in China's middle and high schools.
Over 30 students from Beijing No. 4 high school performed "Heartbreak House," a play written by famed Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw. The play is centered on a family whose arguments reflect society's greater issues.
The students took on all the roles themselves, including writing the script, directing, lighting and designing the set.

This is only one of the plays done by the students.
The English Theatre Club of Beijing No. 4 high school was established in 2006. Since then, the club puts on a full one hour play and several mini-plays each year.
