At least 32 killed after bus crashes into river in India

At least 32 people were killed on Saturday after a passenger bus plunged into a river in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, AFP reported citing local police.
According to the district magistrate Kailash Chand Verma, 32 bodies have been pulled from the bus and those injured have been taken to the hospital.
Although authorities haven’t confirmed the cause of the accident, survivors said the driver lost control when attempting to overtake another vehicle.

At least 20 people were killed and 24 are in critical condition as a passenger bus fell off a bridge into the Banas River in western India’s Rajasthan state on Saturday, local media reported.
The injured have been transferred to a hospital. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
Rescue operations are underway.
