YANG XIAODU MINISTER OF SUPERVISION "Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee centered by President Xi Jinping, we take a firm position against corruption and we have made significant achievements. But we know it is a long battle against corruption. The proposed Supervisory Commission shall work together with the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, which means it will report to the CPC Central Committee and will also be led and supervised by them. Meanwhile, the proposed Supervisory Commission will be generated through NPC election, so it will report to the NPC as well."

ZHANG ZHIJUN, DIRECTOR TAIWAN AFFAIRS OFFICE OF THE STATE COUNCIL "The relations between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan are becoming tougher and more complicated. There are more risks and challenges when dealing with the cooperation issues with Taiwan. That's mainly because Taiwan rejected the "One China Principal". Some groups in Taiwan are trying to make trouble while external powers have strengthened interventions. But I think such factors won't change the peace between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan."

MIAO WEI MINISTER OF INDUSTRY & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY "More and more countries announced they would stop the sale of gas cars. With the technological development and continuous improvements of the charging facilities of green cars, measures for energy saving and emissions reduction will get better and better in the future. As a result, everyone will make their contributions to energy saving and environmental protection."

ZHONG SHAN MINISTER OF COMMERCE "Last year, China became the world's largest trading country, which shows that our status as the world's largest trading country was strengthened. In 2018, we should build a new image of China's quality and Chinese brands, and strive to promote the construction of foreign trade powers."
