Lulu has been "talking" to her mom on Weibo for the past six years. But she knows for sure that there will be no response.
Lulu, who was born in the 1980s in Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, lost her mother forever in June 2012.

Her initial post came 10 days after her mom passed away, when she wrote, “Mom, I haven’t met you for so long. That’s the longest except the days I was on my business trips. I will keep talking to you like I used to do until I leave the world.”
Lulu said she used to talk with her mom three to four times a day when she was alive. She missed her mom so much that she decided to continue the "conversation" on Weibo to ”keep in touch.”

Lulu has been updating her post since then. What she shares are details of what happened during the day or the memories she had with mom, each post addressed to “Mom”.
During these six years, Lulu has made 1,553 Weibo posts which have touched many hearts on the social media, attracting 91,849 followers up to Mar. 26. Many Weibo users said they couldn’t hold back their tears when reading her posts.

Lulu also admitted she had lots of regrets. She still remembers her impatience when she was asked by her mom to teach her how to use a smartphone, or how she turned her down when she wanted to go shopping with her.
Lulu said that she hoped her posts could remind netizens to cherish the days they spend with their mothers.

"Perhaps it’s not your parents who do not understand you. It is you that should give them the chance to know you. So please put down the phone, and give them some time!"
