Firefighters managed to rescue 40 tourists trapped in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, central China's Hubei Province on Saturday, according to Chinanews.com.
The tourists, who were driving their own cars, saw all 20 vehicles washed away by a flood.
Three tourists were injured, and one of whom in a serious condition.

The county has seen days of heavy downpour, leaving more than 24,000 residents affected and three power stations crushed, Xinhua said.
