US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner is pursuing fresh efforts to revive peace attempts in the region.
Kushner met in Jerusalem with the Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for several hours on Wednesday. He then travelled to Ramallah, in the West Bank, where he met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The leaders on all sides and Kushner did not deliver any statements after the meetings.
Trump has long said that he believes he can jump-start peace process between the two sides, however, no details about how that would look like or what it entails have been released.
