Calls for gun control have intensified across the United States and spread to the whole world.

Hundreds gathered in Sydney on Saturday to stand in solidarity with Americans and demand gun control legislation. Sydney supporters urged US lawmakers to limit access to high-powered weapons. Some held placards reading "America, love your children not your guns" and "The NRA has blood on its hands." Americans in Israel also joined the "March for Our Lives" protest on Friday in Tel Aviv. In London, thousands gathered in front of the US Embassy on Saturday. There, protesters lay down in a moment of silence for the Parkland victims.
