This rare footage shows a wild puma eating a bull in Heshun County, northwest China's Shanxi Province. It is the first time clear video of such a scene has been captured in China.   The male adult puma bites the bull to drag it. But the body gets stuck on a branch, so the puma starts to eat the animal there.   A total of 54 bulls were killed by local wild pumas, officially designated as Panthera pardus japonensis, in 2017. Meanwhile, the amount of the wild pumas has increased due to the success of the local government’s animal protection efforts.
