PLA shares unwavering dedication to protect Hong Kong

For the past two decades, the China's People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison has been dedicated to ensuring the safety of the region and its people.
As part of the first batch of helicopter pilots of the garrison, Yu Tingfu said that his initial determination to protect the region has not changed even after 20 years. What has changed, on the other hand, is the combat capability of this aviation regiment that has now grown to a multi-united entity.
Peng Tingxian, a chief marine engineer for the garrison for 16 years now, says Hong Kong is his second homeland and wishes to contribute more to the region.
Just like Yu and Peng, the 15,000 military personnel in Hong Kong have already developed a strong connection with the city and the people they vowed to protect.
