China Media Group, the nation's state radio and television broadcaster, proudly announced the launch of its first two bureaus on Monday. The Shanghai Municipal Bureau, and a regional bureau for the Yangtze River Delta are slated to open in Shanghai. The launch was part of a strategic cooperation agreement signed by the city of Shanghai and China Media Group. It will see the two parties establish a comprehensive and in-depth partnership in major cultural projects and intellectual property management. The two will also press ahead with correspondence in industries like sports, 4K technologies, and TV and film production. China Media Group says the strategic cooperation will enhance its broadcasting capacities and international influence as a world-class mainstream media.
