Youths recited Ode to Peace at the state memorial service for Nanjing Massacre victims on Wednesday morning as Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the ceremony, together with other senior officials, members of the military and average citizens to pay tribute to the victims during the massacre. This year also marks the fourth anniversary of the Chinese government declaring December 13 as National Memorial Day.
