At the 2017 Chengdu Motor Show, the President of the Chery Jaguar Land Rover Murray Dietsch made the comments on how does the brand plan to achieve a goal of "green manufacturing".
He says the company thinking about the green manufacturing right from the beginning.
"All of our shops have had a very conscious environmental focus, we have a high degree automation that we used in equipment to reduce the power consumption, as an example, the all new aluminum body shop we use over 235 new robots, 100 percent automated, if you are in that body shop, is very quiet, there is no smoke."
Speaking of the future trend of intelligent manufacturing from both long and short terms, he said, "when we establish the phase one of the facility, the company thought about the industrial Internet, they were going to use the computing systems to our advantage within our manufacturing facility. Since then we have advanced even more the phase two capacity expansion, we have taken even more steps to meeting the industry 4.0 of benchmark."

The Chengdu Motor Show 2017 is being held in Chengdu from August 25 to September 3.
This year a total of 116 German, US, French, Japanese, Korean, joint-venture and self-owned brands participated the event, bringing unprecedented visual and sensory experience for millions of car fans in southwest China.
In the past two years, the growth of China's auto market has decelerated and the car ownerships have approached to saturation. The auto show has provided an ideal platform for global auto enterprises to attract more customers in western China market.
