Chinese vice premier to travel to Russia for Far East cooperation meetings

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will travel to Russia next week for a meeting of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee of China's Northeast and Russia's Far East and Baikal Region, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said Monday.
Wang, who will be in Russia from September 4-8, will also attend a chairman's meeting for the joint commission for regular meetings between the Chinese and Russian heads of government and the third Eastern Economic Forum, said Hua
Wang will make the trip at the invitation of his Russian counterparts Dmitry Rogozin and Yury Trutnev.
