Jerusalem Controversy: US plans to move embassy in Israel in May

The US State Department says the country's new embassy in Israel will open in Jerusalem in May.
The embassy opening will coincide with the 70th anniversary of Israel's declaration of independence. It will initially operate out of the current US consular premises in Arnona, in south Jerusalem. The US has started searching for a permanent site for the embassy.
