"Through reforms in technology and innovation, we can see progress has been made... Investments in equipment, overseas talent and expert recruitment have increased, which means we can further advance the industrialization of our technological innovation. More foreign companies have shown interest in cooperating with China, I think this round of reform is crucial for the establishment of an innovative country," Liu said.
As one of the NPC deputies showing up in the "Delegates' Corridor" on Monday, Liu said, technology can help us communicate and cooperate with other nations. He began to develop a speech recognition system during his postgraduate studies, and the technology now covers dozens of languages and is used millions of times around the world every day. The story of his company illustrates the huge potential of the Chinese economy in the years to come.

Next-generation artificial intelligence R&D and application have promoted the Internet Plus model in education and government services. Reforms in technology have helped the building of an innovative nation," he added.

China has shown its determination to be bolder in its reforms and transparency.
Besides the reforms in technology and innovation, the country will also continue fiscal and tax refinements, speed up adjustments in the financial sector, advance institutional social revisions and build a more robust system for developing an ecological civilization.
China has sent a clear message: The world's second largest economy is determined to go further in freeing minds, deepening reform and expanding its "opening-up policy".
NPC deputies said China's effort to make new breakthroughs in reform will unleash productive forces for its own high-quality growth, and at the same time, bring new development opportunities to the rest of the world.
