Iran Plane Crash: All 66 people on board presumed dead

A plane crashed in central Iran has killed 66 passengers and crew members. Victims' relatives on Sunday gathered at the airport searching for answers. The company - Aseman Airlines - announced on state TV that all on board had died.
VOICE OF MOHAMMAD TAGHI TABATABAI SPOKESPERSON FOR ASEMAN AIRLINES "After searching the area, we learned that unfortunately the airplane had crashed into Mount Dena, 14 miles from the city of Yasuj near the village of Bideh, and our dear passengers have lost their lives. This plane had 60 passengers -- 59 adults and one child, as well as a pilot, co-pilot, two flight attendants and two air marshals on board. The flight number was 3704."
UNIDENTIFIED RELATIVE OF PLANE CRASH VICTIM "I kept telephoning all morning but they wouldn't answer. So I called my brother and he said they will get here, the plane is not behind schedule yet. I told him it is raining here. He said don't worry. He called later and said the plane had crashed."
Aseman Airlines' twin-engine turboprop ATR-72 took off from Tehran early Sunday morning. 50 minutes later, it disappeared from radar crashing in a mountainous area nearly 200 kilometers from its destination, Yasuj. Twenty emergency teams were dispatched to the site.
