Let's turn to Chile now, where Sebastian Pinera is being sworn in as the country's head of state. Pinera's swearing-in ceremony is attended by other heads of state and international guests.
Pinera won the presidency last December against center-left rival Alejandro Guillier. He has since vowed to lower taxes and scale back labor laws. He also proposed the creation of a public pension fund and promised to expand free education.
Earlier Sunday, an exit ceremony was held for outgoing president Michelle Bachelet. This is the second time Bachelet has turned over the presidency to Pinera. The two have alternated in the presidency with two terms each between 2006 and 2018.
