At least 93 people are missing after the Sichuan landslide, and the commander of the rescue team has released a list of names of those who remain unaccounted for. CGTN's Zhao Yunfei reports on how those people have been identified.
Checking and cross-checking, three police officers have been working day and night, confirming the identities of the missing people in the Sichuan landslide.  Their supervisor says it involves three sets of information.
According to Zhong Xueqing, the director of Maoxian County police station, the information is gathered through reviewing the missing people’s residential records, confirming their addresses and housing information, and their work information according to records provided by Sichuan Province and their relatives.
Police also need to help to identify the bodies, and a team has been put in charge of collecting personal belongings found by rescuers.
The tasks of confirming missing people and identifying bodies are crucial during the rescue process. The police have been working tirelessly to provide accurate information to anxious family members and the public.
