More than 23,000 people have been relocated to emergency shelters after a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday night. Despite being out of imminent danger, many remain worried.
Zhangzha is one of the most affected villages in the powerful earthquake, which left considerable damage. CGTN reporter Wu Guoxiu visited a parking lot which now hosts more than 200 villagers seeking refuge.
Surrounded by tall mountains, where rockfalls are a usual sight following the temblor, the temporary relocation site is not safe enough for villagers, however this is not their biggest worry -- how to re-build their lives and move past the tragedy tops their agenda.
