The upper reaches of the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have frozen for the first time this year due to the strong cold air.
The ice on the river reaches a total length of about 6,000 meters. The Yellow River Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters announced that the 2017-2018 freezing of the Yellow River has begun and everyone along the riverside should be alerted to all the season's possible risks.
