A seriously injured snow leopard who had suffered several fractures after a traffic accident underwent surgery in Zadoi County, Qinghai Province on December 13. The rescued animal recovered well and now is able to stand and walk smoothly. Snow leopards are endangered species and under first-class protection in China.
