The DPRK beat China 2-0 in the women's East Asian football Championship opening game on Friday.
Chinese players were hoping to impress new coach Sigurour Eyjolfsson. This was the first competitive match for the Icelander on the touchline after a pair of friendlies.
Twenty-four minutes into the match, an error from the Chinese team in the middle of the park led to Ri Yong Mi linking up with Kim for the opener.

In the first half, the opponents had the majority of the possession and used this as a chance to test some youngsters with the introduction of two under-18 players.
And the fresher legs made a difference in the second half. On the hour mark, another interception in midfield resulted in the DPRK team going close through goalscorer Kim.
She did, however, get their second 12 minutes before the end, finishing from close range.
