Italy's deputy minister of economic development is in Shanghai for a three-day visit. Michele Geraci, who took the deputy minister role two months ago, is visiting as part of the Italian "Task Force China". This initiative was established two weeks ago in the interest of furthering cooperation. Geraci has been holding talks with Italian business leaders and Chinese government officials during his stay in Shanghai.
