Football: Chelsea crush Arsenal in Beijing
Chelsea and Arsenal faced off at the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing on Saturday in an unusual London derby during their pre-season Asian tours. And the Premier League champions were on form, beating their cross-town rivals 3-0. Chelsea's Brazilian international Willian opened the scoring just before the break, and was followed by two goals by Belgium's Michy Batshuayi. The English Premier League enjoys a huge following in Asia and over 55,600 Chinese fans packed the stadium for the game.

China's medal haul at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary continued this week, with six more golds. Xie Siyi topped the podium in the men's 3 metre springboard, while Shi Tingmao did the same in the women's competition, ahead of compatriot Wang Han. Shi also took gold in the women's 3 metre synchronized springboard with Chang Yani; Wang Han and Li Zheng were victorious in the mixed 3 metre synchronized; and Chen Aisen and Yang Hao came out on top in the men's 10 metre synchronized. In swimming, Olympic champion Sun Yang defended his world title and won his eighth world gold in the 400 metres freestyle on Sunday.

Britain's Chris Froome won the Tour de France on Sunday, his fourth in just five years, ahead of Colombia's Rigoberto Uran and France's Romain Bardet. Despite not winning a race this season the 32-year-old captured the yellow jersey even after suffering some mechanical problems along the way. This was his third straight Tour de France victory, and he also won in 2013. He is now just one title short of the record held by the likes of Eddy Merckx and Miguel Indurain.

Three matches at this year's Wimbledon tennis tournament are being investigated for possible match-fixing, according to the international anti-corruption Tennis Integrity Unit. Unusual betting behavior during the games – two during the qualifying stage and one during the main tournament draw – was noticed, triggering alerts. The TIU also said it was investigating one game at the French Open.
