Samba! Silk Road influence stretches to Rio carnival

The samba parade during the carnival in Rio De Janeiro is a major magnet for tourists from all around the world.
And with cultural exchanges between China and Brazil deepening, the Middle Kingdom is set to have quite an interesting impact on next year’s event.
One samba dance school in the city will be staging a new work taking a cultural nod from China and inspired by the country’s revival of the ancient Silk Road.
