South Korea's Unification Minister says talks are underway with the United States on staging military exercises after the Winter Olympics. The minister told parliament that Washington and Seoul were likely to make an announcement on the drills soon after the Paralympics end on March 18.
The postponement of the military exercises enabled a flurry of diplomatic contacts between Seoul and Pyongyang. The DPRK has warned it will not sit idly by if the drills are restarted.
