PeyongChang Winter Olympics' opening ceremony started an hour ago. The event opened with a video showing people from different places flew to the country.
The audience can find posters of previous Winter Olympics with hidden easter eggs, such as on newspaper or billboard. A countdown ended with a bell in the center of the stadium ringing, symbolizing for peace and harmony. After the opening show, South Korea President Moon Jae-in, IOC President Thomas Bach and other countries' leaders and representatives entered the stadium. Then eight well-known South Korean athletes carried the national flag into the Stadium. Six guards raised the flag as the national anthem was sung by children choir. Accompanied by 13 songs, teams from different countries and regions entered the stadium. The Greek team led them. The Nigerian team was one of six teams that took part in Winter Olympics for the first time, while South Africa and other 16 countries only sent one athlete to compete this year. Athletes from both South Korea and the DPRK will march together under a unification flag at the very end.
