Seatbelt defect forces Volvo to recall 595 cars in China

Volvo (China) Investment Co. Ltd. is to recall 595 cars due to seatbelt defects, according to China's quality watchdog. 
The recall will involve imported XC90 cars manufactured between September 23, 2016 and November 8, 2016, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on its website on Friday. 
The right seat-belt of the third row of affected cars is defective, according to the statement. 
Volvo (China) Investment Co. Ltd. will replace the faulty components free of charge. 
The recall will start from July 3.
