A Russian presidential envoy has reportedly dismissed the US indictment of Russian nationals for alleged election interference, saying there is no proof behind the charges.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals for allegedly interfering in the 2016 US election. The charges by Mueller's office claimed to stem from a conspiracy that began back in 2014. Russian citizens are accused of using false identities to push divisive messages online, as well as traveling to the US to collect intelligence and stage political rallies while posing as Americans.
US President Donald Trump continues to insist there was "no collusion" between his campaign and Russia. In a tweet, he said Russian interference had no impact on the results of the election.
