As part of strengthening its pre-emptive strike capability against the DPRK, South Korea conducted its first advanced air-launched cruise missile live-fire drill on Wednesday. The missile, manufactured by Germany's Taurus Systems, has a maximum range of 500 kilometers. It’s equipped with stealth characteristics designed to avoid detection by DPRK radar. South Korea has been accelerating efforts to ramp up its military capabilities after recent missile and nuclear tests by the DPRK.
