Chinese President Xi Jinping has received high praise for a speech at a gathering of political party officials from around the world.
Speaking at the opening of the CPC (Communist Party of China) in Dialogue with World Political Parties High Level Meeting in Beijing, Xi said the CPC is willing to work with other groups to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Oliver Schroder, the German Left Party's deputy chief for international politics, said, "The world is faced with lots of uncertainty including war and regional conflicts. General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the importance of peace, and noted that all countries should work together for common development to build a better world. His speech sent a positive signal."
"Xi's speech fully represents that the Chinese Communist Party seeks happiness for the people of the world and is willing to cooperate with the world's parties. He also proposed a mechanism for dialogue, which will strengthen the exchange of ideas among political parties," said Ilyas El Omari, general secretary of Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party.
Javier Miranda, president of the Broad Front party of Uruguay, said, "To build a common destiny for mankind, countries need to strengthen exchanges among political parties. The high-level dialogue is a good platform for every country to display their way of governance and political systems."
